Working across Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, Luton Borough and Northamptonshire, we deliver a range of advocacy, inclusion and training services.

We provide free and independent support to people, regardless of their status or ability, to have a direct say in the issues that affect their lives. This includes specialist support for people with a learning disability; older people; and adults who have experience of issues such as mental health problems, substance abuse or domestic violence.

The British Association of Teachers of the Deaf (BATOD) was formed in 1977 by the amalgamation of The National College of Teachers of the Deaf (NCTD) and the Society of Teachers of the Deaf (STD).
