We are a not-for-profit company and our aim is to support people who have communication and movement difficulty. This includes, amongst others, people who have been labelled with cerebral palsy, autism, down syndrome, rett syndrome, learning difficulty and developmental delay.
We are a communication aid centre and learning support provider. We work with individuals who have communication and/or learning difficulties, their families and/or organisations that are supporting them. We can offer unique insights into ways in which the curriculum can be differentiated, the environment improved, the support systems optimised and/or communication can be supported.

CMG provides specialist support to children and adults with learning and physical disabilities, chronic and enduring mental health needs, sensory and communication impairments and associated complex needs including behaviours that challenge.Our personalised services support people with learning disabilities including physical disabilities, mental health needs, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, complex health needs such as cystic fibrosis, long term neurological conditions such as Huntingdon’s disease, dementia and cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury (ABI). Our specialisms also include support for people with sensory and communication impairments, such as being deaf and/or blind and those who have limited or no verbal communication.

What we do
Information - run the helpline; provide info about all aspects of living with Down's syndrome including specialist advisers on social security benefits, education and health; advise new parents or anyone experiencing difficulties
Fundraising - responsible for raising money for the association through events, sponsorship and trusts
Communications - give key messages to the media, public and professionals; influence policy making; responsible for external publications
Training - run courses throughout the UK for members, professionals and carers
Membership - responsible for all administration surrounding new members, existing members and affiliated groups

Down’s Syndrome Oxford is organized and funded by parents and supporters to provide information, help and activities for children with Down’s Syndrome and their families in the Oxfordshire area.
Members of DSO are children and adults with Down’s Syndrome, their parents, carers and supporters of the charity plus many key professionals such as physiotherapists, pre-school teacher councilors, teaching assistants, health visitors and other people working in the community with people with Down’s Syndrome.

The group was set up by parents in the Huddersfield district of children with Down Syndrome.
As a group we aim to provide support to the families, to celebrate our children’s achievements, champion their views and aspirations and also provide social, sporting and learning opportunities for the children and their siblings.

psds is a registered charity whose principal goal is to provide support for children with Down syndrome and their families. We meet regularly as families to share our experiences and provide a network of support, friendship, advice and expertise. This benefits not only our children with Down syndrome, but also their siblings, ourselves as parents and all family members. We also provide a range of professional services, such as early development groups and speech and language therapy, and have an extensive library of resources for our members and their families to make use of.
