Whether you're with the family, your mates or looking for some relaxing time to yourself… Clearwaters has built a reputation over the past decade as one of Europe's finest carp fishing venues.
Clearwater is ideal for all types of angler. From beginners looking for an unhurried and friendly environment to seasoned veterans looking for a change of scenery and that elusive PB. For those with mobility difficulties, both swims and paths have recently been upgraded to be fully accessible.

Dreamstore has been established to open access to recreational fishing for all, supporting and promoting social inclusion, education and conservation efforts all over the UK. Dreamstore wishes to open the same inclusive opportunities to all members of society.

Dreamstore has no wish to become yet another fishing organisation and focuses exclusively on working in partnership through others who share the same objectives. Where Dreamstore offers financial support to a project or programme it works with the delivery partner to assure that money is used effectively and efficiently. The range of people with whom we have worked is wide and varied, across all angling disciplines and throughout the UK.

The warmest of welcomes awaits anyone with a mobility impairment to join the Irish Disabled Fly Fishing Association.
Our outings and competitions are mainly boat fishing for trout.
We have special boats (Wheelyboats) which are so easy for a wheelchair user to fish from. If you have not fished before we will be happy to teach you and can lend you a rod to get started.

Our aim is to provide the facilities and opportunities for the disabled to take part in sport and recreation at any level they wish, whether that be at a competitive level with all it rigours or at the purely recreational level for some light hearted fun.

The term disabled means anyone with any form of impediment, whether it be physical, metal or just age. All these mean certain things are not within our ability, They certainly do not and should not, deter us from gaining enjoyment and satisfaction from sport and leisure activities, whether they are strenuous and energetic or of a more sedate nature.

The ‘OWLS’ intention is that whilst we provide the facilities, they will be available for everyone alike. The process of integration will continue and hopefully gain speed with the able-bodied and disabled joining together in their leisure and sporting activities, thereby creating a greater knowledge and understanding of each other.

: The primary aim is to help the disabled and those needing assistance to return to fishing. Nationally we will collect and collate names and contact numbers of people needing our help and assistance, and people willing to give that assistance. These will be cross referenced and introduced through the "Buddy" system register.

:: The secondary aim is to offer advice and guidance in general to fisheries and venues in regards to access and suitability for the disabled angler. Where appropriate we will refer them to an appropriate advisory agency in their area.

:: The third aim is to (where ever possible) promote angling as a healthy, beneficial pastime for everyone, regardless of experience or ability. This will be done by supporting less privileged groups enabling them to participate in organised events.
