Black Sheep Press produce illustrated worksheets and assessments that assist the development of children's speech and language. Our aim is to save you preparation time by providing effective materials that are fun for children to use and provide value for money.

Working therapists design all our materials. The worksheets have drawings that are attractive to children.

Each set can be used as a whole by teachers, therapists, parents or carers. Alternatively material can be selected to supplement individual programmes in clinic, school or home.

Material is supplied on CD or as downloads. CDs are supplied worldwide with no delivery charge.

We are a local group affiliated to Mencap and adhere to their quality standards and policies but we are completely independently run and funded. We aim to maximise independence and minimise dependence through education, choice, community involvement and participation.

East Kent Mencap offers a variety of opportunities for people with a learning disability. These range from: supported and independent living; day services; two social clubs for adults and two youth clubs; leisure activities; person centred plans; employment; social networks; advice. We also put on events throughout the year for all to enjoy. Over 650 people with learning disabilities in our area benefited from our services last year. Our area reaches across the region of East Kent, including Thanet, Canterbury, Swale and Dover.
