Our aim is to teach each boy strategies to overcome any learning difficulty, and to develop his skills as an independent learner.

For some boys this is insufficient to bring about rapid improvement, so they will need to attend our Learning Development Centre (LDC) which is staffed by six Speech and Language Therapists, a number of Literacy and Numeracy Tutors, and Occupational Therapists to support language processing, fine motor control and hand-writing, and those who have dyscalculia. Boys may attend the Learning Development Centre for up to four hours each week. As a result of this, every boy in the school is on his own individual timetable.
