2020 Archery started life at the beginning of 2008, since when we’ve been going from strength to strength. We now have our own premises – open 7 days a week for practice, lessons and events – in a great location in Islington, and we’ve also just launched in a new venue down at London Bridge for fun archery sessions and events.
We won a Play Sport grant in Summer 2009 which we used to fund sessions for Enfield Mencap (as well as others). We are hosting sessions for deaf young people over the October half term and we are very interested in working with blind and visually impaired groups to get blind / VI archery off the ground in London.

Comments:

“I'm a wheelchair user with no use of my fingers and I thought archery as a hobby was out of the question, until I accompanied my friend to a 2 hour session with Joe and I've got to say he's a true gentleman and a great teacher. We went back to take the beginners course and learnt so much from Joe's years of experience, we also found his enthusiasm very infectious. I can't wait to join a club now and take part in a hobby where I'm at a level pegging with everyone else. I highly recommend going to see Joe if you’re looking for a beginning in Archery”
