Welcome to the oldest schools of their kind in the UK. At both our campuses, Centre Academy London and Centre Academy East Anglia, we offer an excellent education while also teaching the skills and coping strategies that enable students with a variety of learning difficulties to succeed.

--We accept a broad range of ages; at CA London (day students) from 9 to 18; at CA East Anglia (day and boarding) from 8 to 16. This eliminates the anxiety, common to children facing learning challenges, of having to move from one school to another.

--We address an equally broad range of learning challenges, including Dyslexia, AD/HD, Dyspraxia, Asperger Syndrome, Speech and Language problems, to name a few.

We work with a maximum of six young people who may have encountered difficulties of a behavioural, emotional and educational nature. All referrals will be assessed on the basis of whether the home can effect change and meet the needs of the individual young person. We prefer admissions to be planned, but will consider emergency/crisis if deemed to be an appropriate placement in relation to the resident group of young people living in the home.

The education block is separate from the main house, comprising a classroom, office and workshop. Pupil/Teacher ratio functions at no more than 3:1. Each young person has an individual education plan based on continuous assessment end educational statements. We follow National Curriculum guidelines.
