Penhurst School is a residential special school catering for boys and girls who
have complex disabilities associated with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The school age range is from 5 to 19 years. We also have provision for young adults with PMLD between 19 and 25.

Education, therapy, nursing and care are provided onsite and children may attend as boarders or as day pupils. Residential care is provided for a standard 51 or 52‑week placement.

Bedelsford School aims to provide a challenging environment for pupils aged 2 to 16, who have a wide range of physical disabilities, including profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health issues.

Opened in 1985 near Preston in Lancashire, Scope's Beech Tree offers both education and care placements including short breaks to young people from the age of 11 to 18, Young people are referred to Beech Tree because of the severity of their challenging behaviours, which are a result of a learning disability. Many of the young people placed at Beech Tree are autistic.
