We offer placements for all sorts of disdvantaged people oe learning difficulties, mental health problems, dementia, young people. For some people coming to Clinks care farm may be part of a road to recovery, for others it is an opportunity to learn new skills and part of work preperation. We do not see ourselves as a 'daycare' facilty but a farm that offers disadvantaged people opportunities in life by allowing people to come on the farm and take part in the work.

Placements are often funded through direct payments. The new 'Farming on Prescription' scheme (which is what the news paper article was about) allows people with mental health problems to be referred by Mental health linkworker in their GP surgery for a 12 week placement on the farm. This is a year long pilot project and only for those served by GP's in Great Yarmouth & Waveney NHS.

Mandi Mart is a small family business run by Mandi, Tom & Joe Rodwell from Dorset. Mandi's youngest son Samuel has 47XYY, Severe Regressive Autism, Heavy Metal Toxicity and a possible Seizure Disorder. He has made great gains through use of biomedical and nutritional interventions.
