Alzheimer’s & Dementia Support Services (ADSS) has developed multicultural services to provide practical and emotional support to:
people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
their main carer
other relatives and supporters.
ADSS’s prime aim is to enable people with dementia to stay in their own home for as long as possible and to support their carer throughout their caring role and even after it has ended. ADSS operational area is Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley covering some 46 square miles in North West Kent.

The branch provides a quarterly newsletter, a lending library,various social activities,two monthly support groups (Fleet and Sandhurst) and the services of an out reach worker. People with Dementia, their carers and their families as well as professionals in Health and Social Care are welcome.

The Alzheimer Café UK is open to all carers, persons with dementia and their family and friends.
It is also for all professionals involved i.e. district and practice nurses, old age psychiatrists, speech therapists, care assistants, physiotherapists, community health workers, day centre staff, care managers and social workers, carers support workers, doctors etc.
