We specialised in drama based services, using drama as a learning tool to help improve confidence, social skills and living skills.
We now provide a variety of services, including:
Training Opportunities
Independent Living Support
Housing
Dance Workshops
DJ workshops
Outreach
We still still provide Drama services to individuals and to five local authorities. These services include The Baked Bean Theatre Company and it's various offshoots.

Andover & District Mencap is a charitable company and this body corporate holds the assets on behalf of its members. The members elect its trustees who, on their behalf, use volunteers and employees to deliver benefits in accordance with its Articles and Memorandum. In other words, its members are the “owners” of the charity (who each have to fork out £1 if it fails!) and all others are enablers, tasked to deliver benefit to beneficiaries.
We offer a range of services. These are:
* Advice to help you
* Respite Care using our own house - Stephen's Ark
* Support for living at home and in the community

BILD believes that listening to the views and experiences of people with learning disabilities and their family carers is central to developing effective services.
While we do this in our work in developing effective policy and practice, as well using our conferences, events and publications to spread good advice and demonstrate the benefits of best practice, we also work hard to ensure we have an effective and informed membership to help spread the word as well.

Choice Care Group provides personalised residential support for adults with learning disabilities, mental health disorders and complex emotional and behavioural needs across 39 homes.
At Choice Care Group, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to live a healthy, active and fulfilling life, whatever their background or level of disability.
Our homes provide a safe but stimulating environment for adults and young people (aged 16 and over), where service users are supported to achieve positive outcomes in whatever way is meaningful to them. We actively encourage service users to become more self-reliant, to make decisions for themselves and, in many cases, to ultimately move on to more independent living arrangements.
Choice Care Group comprises Choice, Truecare Group and Orchard End. With residential care homes in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Gloucestershire and Berkshire, we can provide a specialist local service to these funding authorities, as well as to neighbouring counties.
